Steve Jobs

There really isn't much I could honestly write about Steve. I did not know him personally or ever attend a Macworld or WWDC like I wanted to. I however felt and will continue to feel his influence on my life and my future going forward. He will continue to be an inspiration to everyone who walks this planet. The scary thing for me is that I was just talking to some neighbors about how he is the one man on this planet I would absolutely love to meet. My neighbor's friend told me to follow my dreams and goals, save up my money and you know what, FIND that way to meet your idol. If I could have just picked his brain for ten minutes I feel I would be a better person overall. I, unfortunately, envy anyone who has had the opportunity to work next to and for such an inspirational figure. I know he will forever live in my mind and my heart, as now his products will continue to be apart of me as they have been for the past ten years when I was exposed to my first iPod and iMac.

I still get chills thinking about watching Steve Jobs on stage announcing the original iPhone (heck I had chills when I watched the Macintosh announcement), which I immediately bought right when it was released! I had to have it! I WAS a part of a revolution, the Apple mobile revolution, 600 of the best dollars I had ever spent. Since that day Apple has released number iPhone products, including the iPhone 3G, 3GS, 4 and most recently announced the iPhone 4S. I have had the pleasure to own all of the iPhone products and will have my hands on the 4S as soon as it comes out. The iPhone has changed my views on mobile technology, it is just so easy to use and so powerful for what it does. The purchase of the iPhone 4S will be my personal tribute to this great man.

If I could be like someone, it would be him; kind, caring, tough, rough and a visionary.

You are an icon Mr. Jobs.

I love you, just like the handful of loyal Mac Fanboys and Fangirls.

No more pain and suffering, goodbye.

SR-20

HELLO ALL YOU WONDERFUL PEOPLES! I should probably hire someone to edit my posts before they get posted to the interwebz. Though I really don't care about punctuation and stuff.. soooo PHOOEY TO THAT IDEA! Anyways, in better news, I went flying in an SR-20! That was the neatest experience ever, I felt as free as a bird, and actually kind of made me want to go get my private pilot's license. I don't know, but it may happen.

I started on a nice, cool sunny day in South Florida, I stepped foot onto the BC ramp next to North Perry (HWO) airport. Where there was a single SR-20 sitting there, wow was she perdy, and I just knew that she was the one. I may add pictures later, but we shall see. Anyways, we took off from HWO and headed west towards the everglades, we were coming up to 27 when John told me it was my turn to fly the plane. I immediately grabbed the yoke and began flying. What an experience.. I could never take that back for anything in the world..I even showed John my favorite fishing spot int he glades while I was flying.

After that John began flying again and we did a low pass at FXE then went south along the shoreline. It was a shame it was only an hour, I wanted more, I needed to be back in the air. It was just awesome. I hope to be able to do it again one day. Maybe even go get a private pilot's license!

I'll add some pictures later (maybe). Comment!

New SAW

I can't believe it, do they honestly have to constantly keep milking movie franchises and ruining the two or three good films that they have in the franchise? YES! I hate hollywood for that simple fact and the funny thing is the simpletons will pay to go see, when it will be the same crap you have already seen. OH! It's also going to be in 3D! OMG! The only good film lately that I have heard was spectacular in 3D was avatar. As of this moment the only good 3D movies would be fantasy and imagination. Those movies are the types you should have yourself put into the action. Put into a new world, it would complete the transition from reality to fiction, but time and time again hollywood will try to make even more money off of us.

I for one will not go see it, it's not because I don't like certain SAW movies, it's only because the movies just really aren't my thing. I'd much rather sit at home where everything is so much cheaper and watch a movie on the TV or an actual TV show, then buy an overpriced movie ticket.

So for all my three or four readers, will you go see the new SAW? Comment!

Chili’s Night

Well, my second post was supposed to be about the new SAW movie, but I guess I can leave that for tomorrow! Tonight, however, I AM DRUNK! I'm a little more sobered up then I was earlier but I must admit it was a great night out with my fellow students and friends from Broward College and the CTI program!

Anyways, that is really all I can post for tonight, I hope we raised enough money to help buy a new tower simulator and also for miscellaneous things that need to be bought.

Have a goodnight world, this is Brett signing off!

Ground ZERO

IT IS HERE! IT IS REAL! IT WONT QUIT UNTIL YOU STOP LOOKING! THEN IT WILL COME BACK AGAIN CAUSE YOU REOPENED YOUR EYES! The Ground Zero "Mosque"! Which is really a community center that will be open to EVERYONE and has a place of worship built in, on a floor. Wow, so much hype over something that shouldn't even really matter. Want to know what I think? (that is a rhetorical question for those of you reading) I think that people need to respect other religions no matter what happened at a certain site.

Okay! So you christian extremists will make the claim that, "OMG you are teh worst Your Majesty! It waz teh muzlim terrorists that killed teh peoples in teh towers! How culd you YOUR MAJESTY!?" Well, to all of you extreme righties or lefties who think that it was ISLAM that brought the towers down you are wrong. First you must go deeper into a religion and ACTUALLY do research on it. BTW, going to the guy across the street's website that shares the exact same views as you on a certain religion is not doing research.

Just to quickly share something with you on Islam, to be a Muslim, all you have to do is say, "I am a Muslim!" Then adopt the religion as your own, that being said it is not like they were acting on behalf of the 1.57 billion other people that practice Islam to help better themselves and the people around them. That being said, I with one statement have debunked your theory on, "ISLAM IS TRYING TO KILL US ALL!" So, in reality it was the very small percentage of the Muslim extremists that brought down the towers, since they seem to.. operate on.. TERROR! That's why we label Al-Qaeda as a TERRORIST organization. It wasn't ISLAM that is the terrorist organization.

Alright, so we have established Islam as a relatively peaceful religion (every religion CAN BE peaceful, it's the extremists who kill that). So, why are we complaining about a COMMUNITY CENTER that we be over 2 blocks away from ground zero? BTW! I am pretty sure that Muslims died in those buildings, along with every other religion out there.

One more quick fact, the designer of the community center got the idea from: THE JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER! OH NOES!

Food for thought, like banana's. Thoughts? COMMENT!
